Chad and Julie McAtee have served together in full time ministry since 1995. Immediately after graduating from Central Bible College, Springfield, Missouri, they were married and began several years of student pastoral ministry. Chad graduated from CBC with a degree in Biblical Studies. He was ordained in 1998. As youth pastor, Chad served with Pastor Steve Furr on the Youth Ministry Cabinet. Julie graduated from CBC with a degree in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministries, with a minor in Pastoral Counseling. She was ordained in 2020. Love for the Indiana Assemblies of God has kept Indiana home for them. They enjoyed serving at Crawfordsville First Assembly of God and Greencastle First Assembly of God as youth pastor before serving as the lead pastor of Sweetwater Assembly of God in North Manchester for 14 years where they raised their three boys David, Andrew, and Jonathan. For many years, Julie served on the Indiana Women’s Ministry team. Chad served as the Northeast Executive Presbyter for six years. He was elected as the Indiana Executive Secretary in 2018 and then in 2023 was elected Superintendent.

Chad was raised in Springfield, Missouri. A few things Chad enjoys are being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, reading, trying to stay physically fit, and being with his boys. He loves people, the local church, and…whistling. While enjoying humming more than whistling, Julie also loves the outdoors and being in nature. She grew up in Middlebury, Indiana. Her favorite hobby for the past many years has been watching her boys play sports. Chad reminds many of how he initially met Julie. She was playing third base on a coed intramural softball team in college. Great story! Julie has a passion for mothering and worship/intercession. Together, Chad and Julie love being with their family and friends…and that includes you.
